Founder & Chief Executive Officer
From 1995 to 2017, William Ashmore was a Co-Founder and President of Impac Mortgage Holdings, a publicly traded mortgage and investment company. During this time, he oversaw the origination of over $100 billion in mortgage loans, securitization of over $75 billion, and investment of over $60 billion in non-agency MBS. Currently, he is the Founder and CEO of Vista Point Mortgage Financial Holdings, LLC. He oversees the firm’s sales and operational activities, and works closely with our capital partner and secondary marketing team.
COO, EVP Capital Markets
Jim Malloy brings over 22 years and $170 billion of capital markets and operations experience to the team. Prior to joining Vista Point Mortgage, Mr. Malloy was SVP at Impac Mortgage Holdings since 2003, where he managed a variety of capital markets, corporate and operational functions. During his tenure, he oversaw execution of all asset sale and financing transactions, including multiple forms of securitizations, both public and private. Prior to joining IMH, Mr. Malloy spent several years in ABS/RMBS/Structured Products banking, at firms including Merrill Lynch, Salomon Smith Barney and Bank One (with an emphasis on securitization of consumer and commercial assets), as well as at a pre-IPO technology start-up.
Chief Revenue Officer
Allison Ashmore brings specialized non-QM acumen and a decade of sales experience to her role at Vista Point Mortgage. She is responsible for business development, marketing and running the sales operation. Prior to joining Vista Point Mortgage, Ms. Ashmore was the Director of Correspondent Sales for the Western Region at IMH, where she led the top producing sales team. At IMH, she was part of the initial market release of non-QM in 2014. Through this initiative she developed an adept understanding of the non-QM product and marketplace and its challenges and opportunities. Prior to the mortgage industry, Ms. Ashmore developed her strategic and solution-oriented sales approach in the primary and secondary art markets at Sotheby’s and various galleries.
SVP Correspondent Lending
Manny is a seasoned professional with comprehensive expertise in the mortgage industry, spanning the entire process from origination to securitization and bond trading. He was at the forefront of the resurgence of non-QM products in 2011, with the introduction of bank statements and DSCR loans.

With a proven track record of driving sustainable business growth, Manny excels in delivering creative solutions and providing strategic coaching to clients. His deep industry knowledge, combined with a results-oriented approach, ensures continuous improvement and long-term success for the organizations and individuals he partners with.
VP Correspondent Lending
David brings over 10 years of experience as a sales strategist and business development leader to Vista Point Mortgage. With a significant focus on relationship selling, David leverages his knowledge and expertise to bring new products, strategies, and processes to his clients. His mentality is that there are no two clients who are the same in every aspect of their business, which is why he drills down to understand what each client needs to adopt, launch, and scale products effectively.

With a current focus in the non-QM and equity products space, David excels with his acumen in customer service, training needs, and product strategy.

An advocate for continuous sales innovation, David stays ahead of industry trends, emerging sales methodologies, and evolving buyer behaviors. He actively participates in sales leadership forums and professional networks, sharing insights on product marketability, scalability, and profitability.

Before Vista Point, David held Correspondent sales roles at First Guaranty Mortgage and Wintrust Mortgage Correspondent.
